I picked New Orleans... I don't know why. I guess it's because I've been to a lot of those cities and seen there ghetto's... I haven't been to NO's so I guess something's gotta give. They can't be all utterly terrible and dangerous can they? Actually, they probably can

I would live in Harlem, in New York City. As far as American ghettos go, it could very well be the safest and most bustling....somewhat gentrified while still strongly maintaining the urban black ghetto atmosphere. It's probably the most thriving inner city black neighborhood in America by far (and I'm not counting ones that are thriving only because of the emerging gentrifying white population).
I chose Los Angeles. I always figured if I had to be homeless the weather HAS to be good. I dont understand why some homeless people dont save up enough for a bus ticket out of Chicago to some place warm. I am sure there is a reason but I am pretty sure I would high tail it out of here.
If I had to live in the ghetto, in a house. I'd probably stay inside, all the time. I'd be an easy target.
Los Angeles is one of the cities I chose as well, LA's hoods don't even look bad compared to a lot of other cities. There are houses in Compton that have driveways..
A lot of people voted for NYC, I'm guessing people like the "new Harlem" lol?
I live in one of NYC's ghettos and I honestly don't see what's so attractive about living here lol. I'm about to start counting the days (most likely months) until we get up out of here.
Lol the problem is that people who aren't from the area always think of how great Times Square is until they get out and see the rest of the city. New York really has some depressing areas but I still love the city regardless.
Funny thread. I'd stay right here in Rochester, NY
