Tampa just has way more options IMO, winch makes it an almost no brainer to me 4 million in greater Tampa Bay, sounds way better than 1 million to me.

To me overall, NOLA wins by a landslide. It has the “flair” that is desirable, amazing architecture, great people, etc... Tampa would get props for the safety & sunburbs though.

The Tampa MSA is 3 million. If you're going to use an inflated 'greater Tampa Bay' figure, then you should at least do the same for New Orleans to be consistent. Obviously the Tampa Bay area is still a good bit larger, but New Orleans punches above its weight in a couple of ways.
