Tourist Destination: DC
Culture: Boston
People: Neither
QOL: Both

Overall I feel like DC is more respected for being the nations capital, but Boston is respected for it's history/innovation. Hard pick

Reputation? I think DC wins in 2018. Historically, I would probably think Boston. Both have made incredible strides, becoming two of the top ten economic powerhouses in the States. But, for the sake of this thread, we're simply talking rep, and tourist destination is likely going to pull the most weight.

Tourist Destination: DC
Culture Reputation: Boston
Reputation of the Populous: DC
QOL Reputation: Boston
Economic Reputation: Tie? The two are very different.

Close call. Respect and reputation are a little tricky. DC is the nation’s capital so from a national perspective it may have a higher profile/greater reputation, but on the flip side people will associate DC with all of the political swamp that people hate. As far as culture, from a black/African American perspective definitely goes to DC. White definitely goes to Boston. Quality of life is probably even.

Thankfully that is a fictional tale that natives could care less about.
