A group of us (4) are looking to go somewhere over a long weekend (Thursday-Sunday) in August. We were thinking originally for Miami, but figured it might be too humid/rainy. Some spots we were thinking of instead:
-Boston
-Chicago
-Denver
-Montreal (we have passports)
-Seattle
We are looking mainly for a good mix of food, nightlife, and sightseeing (during the day). Suggestions on different cities not listed are always welcome as well. Would any of these cities be cheaper than the other? Better nightlife in any certain one over the other? (a good mix of bars/clubs would be good for us).
Montreal and Chicago have the best nightlife out of your list. What kind of food, among other things, are you guys looking for? Where are you all coming from?

We will be flying from either Pittsburgh or Cleveland. We definitely want some good nightlife, but during the day it would be nice to do some sightseeing or activities. For example: go to a museum, view some historic sites, go to a zoo/aquarium, walk around/explore different neighborhoods, shop, etc.
For food, we do have a vegetarian in the group but I'm assuming most cities on this list would be flexible for that (some may be better than others though). Good Italian, Mediterranean cuisine would be nice. We aren't incredible picky though and are open to trying a bunch of different things.
^^Lots of that in all those cities. I can fill you in about Denver if you're interested. You're on your own for nightlife, though.
