Inane indeed. Believe anyone over Wallethub. They only compare city pop which is categorically worthless in comparing anything, other than governing strategies. Color me bias but I don't see any value in a having both a core city and it's suburbs on the same "best of" lists. All they did was copy and paste from the census largest municipalities to get their comparison subjects.
Lexington Kentucky which is the 106th largest metro area is included, while Pittsburgh which has the 26th largest metro area doesn't have enough people to meet their criteria. It's clear they have no discretion or understanding in the subjects they are comparing, or the metrics that contribute to the existence of these cities. Pure clickbait.

Agreed.
This sort of thing seems to be half-assed every time.
Even industry reports by major organizations tend to be poorly done and lacking key context. In commercial real estate this is an epidemic.
What chance does something have when the main goal is clicks and publicity? It only has to be good enough to seem interesting to a lot of people. And here we are talking about it.
