Your daily life in on of these cities Don't really now what this means. I would say suburbs are tie.
Overall, for daily life:
Milwaukee. Recreation, architecture, sports, music, education, bars, character.
Kansas City. Economy, sports, restaurants, architecture and character in the older parts of city only.
Omaha. Economy, just a nice place with enough stuff.
Indianapolis. Economy, restaurants, sports. Downside is overcrowded part of country, which Milwaukee would suffer from were it not for that wide open space to the east.
Restaurants and bars - KC For restaurants, by a mile. Milwaukee for bars, by a mile.
Sports and Music - KC for sports, not much difference for music.
Outdoor recreation - toss up. Milwaukee during the 2 week’s it’s summer there. Lower Midwest Sept.-June
Economy/jobs - Indy, right?
Education - what does this mean? How many colleges do you people want to go to?
Architecture - tough one. I get Milwaukee, sort of, on the strength of a couple neighborhoods, Buts a lot of it is also kind of boringly shabby like Cleveland or the least interesting parts of Chicago. Even ghettos in KC/Indy often have really cool architecture. Milwaukee it’s either feast (modest feast, at that) or famine. I, for one really, really like the Detroit/KC/Omaha/Indy streetcar suburban vibe.
Local character - tie, they’ve all got it, don’t fool yourself.
Jobs and The Suburbs outside the city no more 25-30 minutesay city vs city battle we taking it to Midwest - tie
Your daily life in on of these cities - is pretty much equivalent.
Restaurants: KC
bars: Milwaukee
Sports: Indy since it does have Indy 500
Music: KC
Outdoor recreation: Milwaukee
Economy/jobs: KC
Education: not sure
Architecture: Kansas City, Milwaukee
Local character:Milwaukee
Jobs and The Suburbs outside the city no more 25-30 MILWAUKEE KC
Omaha is not a peer city to Indianapolis, Milwaukee, or Kansas City.
Given that Indianapolis usually comes in these City-data polls, I'm sure the catch phrase around Indianapolis is "Thank God for Omaha"
Bless Omaha's heart. The city will be struggling to not lose too embarrassingly bad in this poll.
I would think that Omaha's peer cities would be cities more like, Witchita, Tulsa, Little Rock, Baton Rouge, Des Moines, Grand Rapids, Toledo, Dayton, Akron, Boise, Tucson, Colorado Springs, etc.

Omaha wins on safety and higher quality of life. I think it is an underrated city. Indy comes in last for me due to the high crime, run down areas, and lack of things I am interested in compared to the other cities. Overall I would choose Kansas City as a nicer city.
Indianapolis. Economy, restaurants, sports. Downside is overcrowded part of country, which Milwaukee would suffer from were it not for that wide open space to the east.
