Funny you mention him. This came up in my Youtube "recommended" today and I had a good laugh at it. Poor guy:

Funny, on the second penalty (around 1 minute into the video), you can clearly read on Burrows' lips that he says: "... j'ai rien fait, esti!" which in French means "WTF I didn't do nothin'!"

The referee in the game was Stéphane Auger I think.

quality of life: Tie. Depends on who you are, what you do for a living, etc...both cities offer services that lend itself to a high quality of life.

economy: Boston by a landslide. Higher earnings, more economic diversity and power.

nightlife: Boston, but only because Vancouver is pretty bad in this department rather than Boston being all that great of a nightlife city.

scenery: Vancouver. I am not sure if there is any city in Canada/US that could compete with Vancouver in this department.

daytime activities/events: Boston. There are tons of recreational opportunities in both cities and Vancouver holds the edge in outdoor activities, but Boston is no slouch in that department either. Boston is just more well rounded.

shopping/entertainment venues: Boston. See above. Boston is the more well rounded and vibrant city culturally and entertainment wise.

transportation: Tie. The MBTA holds the edge when it comes to coverage but Vancouver's system is more user friendly.

overall vibe: Personally for me Boston. In Canada my favourite city is Montreal and Toronto is "home" and probably the most well rounded city in Canada in my view. Boston aligns with those two cities better when it comes to my interests, Vancouver would be further down the list if I ever decided to move back to Canada.

Boston and it's not close. No offense but Vancouver is just kinda sterile. Boston is full of charm. Though neither are really particularly "exciting".

I love Vancouver the same way I love Seattle.

Boston is the better city. More buzz, more charm, more to offer.

Vancouver and Seattle aren't actually that similar.
