Seems like a pretty fair list to me. Putting my personal opinion aside, it’s hard to argue the top 5.

Would move DC/Toronto ahead of San Jose, that’s for sure. I’d move Seattle up the list, and probably push Denver down. That’s about it.

Thank you for posting this.

Too many were getting upset over the other list. This, along with the global one, puts into perspective how cities rank as National vs Global.

Montreal is one of the best examples. Globally, it is significantly higher than Vancouver (and quite a few others) but when limited to Canada, US and Mexico, the results are different. And that is about as accurate of an assessment as one can get.

This is about branding and exposure, not what's a great city.

It's similar to GAWC in meaning much less than it sounds like.

Further, it's a company that sells services that would influence where a city ranks on the list. Maybe it's totally honest, but the optics suggest lots of room to make it otherwise.

Top 5 seem solid. Below that things can get debatable, but I tend to agree.

Interesting take..looks as though I'm underestimating Miami based on this and Gawc.

Me as well. I think of Miami much in the same way I think of Honolulu.

Oh look! Yet another meaningless list.

The fact that they have Orlando above the likes of Minneapolis, Atlanta, and a few others tells one all s/he needs to know about the list - it's worthless.

Don’t post this in the better quality of life US/Canada thread, weather is used in their metric. Apparently it never is, nor should it ever be, a factor in determining a city’s quality of life.
