Really strange thread, from the crazy impossible mixings of cities, to suggesting which mythical new "city" would be "best" for the OP (who we don't know, and have no desirable specifics to go by).

This. I was about to say aren't the Megalopolises. For example, BosWash is a Megalopolis, a conglomeration of metro areas in a general area.

To answer the OP, I prefer Boston-NYC-Philadelphia-D.C.

I'm aware that many of these cities are far away from each other. I think each one represents a region though. The NW, SW, NE, SE, and Great Lakes. I think it's a fun idea to play around with. It is of course fictional.
