What cities' downtown hustles and bustles now like in the 40's and 50's with all the shopping and errands done downtown, and people go downtown for just about everything? In other words, its downtown still has its mojo and never lost it. Cities I can think of: New York and San Francisco.
That's cool footage and really interesting how times have changed. I'm not too familiar with downtown Dallas but a few of those blocks back then looked pretty urban. How times have changed in some places.
I still maintain the NYC, Chicago, and SF - probably Boston too. I actually wouldn't be surprised if it's greater today in downtown Chicago than back then.
