You're comparing a state with twice the population of another state now? You must really want California to win. New York City wins this.
They're both considered the cultural of America in one way or another more than any other state that's why i'm comparing them and to see others view on this. Based on your logic, you're pretty much saying no other state should be compared to California because it has the highest population lol NYC also has twice the population of LA then why are they always compared? NY state is not just limited to NYC there's another 10 million people living in the state.
They play off of each other very nicely. The two together are partners in this, not rivals.
