Thank you. This data is from the Census Bureau's 5-year estimates that folks here in city-vs-city are very familiar with.

What caught my eye about this IRS data is the $500,000+ income designation. It's long overdue and I hope the census bureau follows suit, currently their median income data is capped at $249,999, anything higher is $250,000+, and as far as household/family income brackets, the census stops at $200,000+

You may not have been trying to defend it, but that was the defense often thrown at it. “They do it too”. I’m well aware Democrats gerrymander too, it’s just wrong no matter what.
