Please...winning isn't a prerequisite for being in any professional league. If it were then there would be lots of teams all over the U.S. that would have lost their status years ago.

I hear the sound of sour grapes loud and clear.

Hmmmmm IDK if SC has better college football.

Tarhills
Duke
East Carolina
Wake Forest
NC State All have respectable programs.

But I like the all around sport options in NC. Pro and College. Not to mention Queen City having fantastic sporting venues!

Sour grapes over not having a NBA team? C'mon man. Few people watch NBA until playoffs.

The whole reason those pro teams are in Charlotte and not Raleigh is to tap into the SC market as well.

This is the same kid who argued that Clemson was a better school academically than Wake Forest because it offers engineering and architecture. It's so absurd you can't do anything but laugh.

Yes, a school that offers engineering and architecteure is a better school for engineering and architecture than one that does not. A wake forest degree isn't doing anyting for engineering and architecture employers.

Wake is a overpriced liberal arts school.

Every one of your arguments comes across that way...classic inferiority complex. And sour grapes.

Oh yes, the ultra-lucrative SC market. If that were the truth then they would be in SC. The fact of the matter is that NC has double the population of SC. Period.

See? Ridiculous. It's like talking to a 10 year old. I'm not going to pleasure you with another stupid argument that is so obviously false on your end. Grow up.

So in that case Clemson is better than Harvard, Yale, Duke, and any other school that is FAR above Clemson? Hilarious.

Charlotte is a NC and SC metro.

So why isn't NBA and NFL in Raleigh instead of Charlotte?

The Panthers played their first 4-5 years at Clemson's stadium. You go to stores here and Panthers gear is all over. They are the Carolina Panthers, not the NC panthers, or Charlotte Panthers. SO there.

Wow! Clemson is the best school ever!

Please. I'm through reading your posts...they are filled with garbage. I see how that SC education is working out for you. LOL!

The NFL and NBA are not going to locate in two cities that size and that close together. Does everything have to be explained to you?

Clemson is a good school, as good as Wake in the programs that Wake has. Plus a better value. And more fun.

The reason they are in Charlotte is it is closer to people in SC too. The Panthers started off playing in Clemson, not in Raleigh at UNC or NC State's stadium.

I'm not anti-NC, Wilmington is one of my favorite cities in the Carolinas and living in Greenville puts me closer to the NC mountains than Charlotte or Raleigh.
