Hmmmmm, this is a tough one. All cities are similar. I probably would choose Baltimore.

I live right outside Wash DC now, NEVER AGAIN. Baltimore is being invaded by the DC folks. Richmond is the true beginning of the South.

I'll take Richmond.

For me it's between Baltimore and DC. Both GREAT. Richmonds nice too but isn't quite as great as DC or Bmore. too hard for me, can't choose

I would pick DC simply because I love the culture of the city. The international people and the extremely educated population are interesting.

this is a pretty tough question. I guess I would live in a nicer section of DC, it's a very interesting city

I agree...the other two are tired and homely.

You maybe should have included an option of "none of these". Personally, I wouldn't pick any of them. All three are higher crime per capita than some folks would want to deal with.

Maybe if I could pick a city in the same states or areas those listed are in though, I'd pick Roanoke, VA. Nice, medium-sized city with enough to do to keep you busy (somewhat) but not high crime or traffic.

DC b/c it is the most exciting and pretty, followed by Baltimore. In dead dead last is the backwater that is known as Richmond.
