Apart from weather channels and records , based on your personal experience / knowledge Which of those cities have a more comfortable summer when compared together in terms of lower heat feeling and degree of sweating
Would say Raleigh by a hair. If you are over in that area of the country though, places like Knoxville and Asheville are probably the most comfortable. Basically you need to get farther north, and elevated.
Raleigh, but not much of a difference between those selections with the exception of Austin. Austin has a VERY LOW latitude and that makes the sun & heat combination horrific, particularly during drought conditions. You have to be up at least 2000ft to have slightly cooler temperatures. Examples would be Asheville, Crossville, parts of the Tri Cities, etc.
