I am from detorit never been to stl but I liked new orleans so I voted for it. Even if detroit has some of those things nobodys gonna move there for that they want safety, good schools, city services, low crime, etc all things detroit lacks.
If you're going to live in a city with a lot of problems with crime, drugs, poverty, education and with constant population loss might as well be one that offers amazing culture, history, architecture, food, people, traditions, and celebrations. As an urban planner I have a real interest in moving to New Orleans to help bring it back better than before and I would definitely consider moving there for a job despite all of it's problems b/c I think it makes up for them in other ways.
Part of that is because of the Cardinals and Blues. But I also love the history of St. Louis, and maybe it is a bit gritty. But I love it. And it's very affordable.
I'll have to say St.Louis, I loved it when I went there, plus it's the closest to some wonderful scenery (Ozarks). Plus I love Albert Pujols!!!! too bad he lives in Kansas City, though
Yea, he moved there when he was 15 from the Dominican Republic. So that's probably a major reason he still lives there
too get back on-topic, St.Louis probably has the most temperate climate out of the 3 cities, I mean Detroit has a similar temps in winter, but it's probably much more Overcast and windy in Detroit than St.Louis during the winter months, and probably last much longer as well . And St.Louis is not nearly as hot and humid than New Orleans during the summer months, though it's still hot and humid, summer probably dosen't last nearly as long in St.Louis than in New Orleans
I voted for Detroit, then it would be St. Louis and then New Orleans.
