I clicked on your link after typing my reply and got what I thought. Another shiny, glass steel box. The top looks like it's a bit transparent around the top and left sides....maybe place some red lights back there?....just sayin...

The top portion of the glass on the roof is transparent, Dylan (The guy from skyscraperpage) says that they'll put lighting up there, he says they'll be normal colored lights, which will reflect in a baby blue color. I think it'll be a cool idea.
I do think the design is a bit cheesy overall for a 230M+ tower but getting one this tall for Houston comes very rarely, and it's just cool how they're still adding to the skyline. [(Once in every 10 years) The 2002 Enron building on Louisiana].
Cool I guess. I think Dallas and Houston's skylines are pretty similar in certain respects. What's that building that looks like a giant baby bottle w/ the X's on it? It's pretty neat.

I have no Idea I got the pics off Wikipedia so it might say on there some where.
New York and Chicago both have impressive skylines....but by me living in both cities I would have to go with Chicago..... because of it's symmetry off of the water.
I voted for Chicago because it LOOKS the best. I realize NYC is bigger and more impressive in person, but if you were going to sketch a skyline for your city that you could create for yourself you'd probably use Chicago as a template and not NYC because Chicago has such a distinctive and beautiful skyline.
Seriously in this poll how could there be any selctions for anything but NYC or Chicago - after those two the drop off is huge. I mean really people
Agreed, anyone voting for the other cities is either a severe homer or trying to be original, because none of the other ones even come close, and that includes Miami, Philly, Seattle, etc.
