Absolutely no one overrates Orlando. Just because people have think it's a great vacation destination doesn't man it's overrated. I believe the overrated cities are the ones that are being mentioned less often.

Orlando by far! Ask anyone in any other city who have never been to Orlando, and they will automatically think that it is endless amounts of fun! Like if Mickey Mouse would wake up next to you and make you coffee in the morning! Orlando is a mid size city with a bunch of house developments, an ok downtown and strip malls everywhere you look! It's not bad, but its not the capital of entertainment.
