All San Diego is is a smaller, slower, and generic version of Los Angeles.
There is crime, pollution, mean ppl everywhere... no city is perfect, but san diego has been considered closest to it

Well here in California I'd give the title to: San Diego

The city just doesn't feel cohesive for lack of a better way to describe it... The architecture is somewhat bland, the weather, although perfect is also pretty boring. The beaches are nice, but way too crowded during the summer with the college frat/tool crowd. Certain aspects of the layout of the city and topography remind me a little of Austin TX... although I'd take Austin over San Diego for a place to live any day.

So meh, San Diego is nice yeah if you want super stable weather all year round, as well as a stable predictable lifestyle. It is a great place to visit in the summer months, but I could never live there.

As a Floridian, I'll admit, both Miami and Orlando are very overrated, but that's just because the tourists' perspective of these cities. This is true of all tourism based cities. Living and vacationing are two totally different things.

I still think they are great cities though, and don't deserve the bad rap they get on this site.

When the city is larger than others, it's easier for it to be more overrated.
With that being said, I'm going with NYC.

new york, san francisco, and austin are the most overrated cities, in my personal opinion

atlanta is NOT overrated. not in the least bit. how could it be, when you hear just as much negative comments about it as you do positive?

and who keeps voting for honolulu? leave them alone lol

Atlanta is pretty overrated in my opinion. Bad crime, horrible traffic, apathetic population. Claims to be a Southern City, but operates like a large, northeastern city.
