Youre implying that because of indoor courts, people hate the cold.

That is some f*ckwit logic right there.

Also.

I. Play. Hockey.

One more time?

I. Play. Hockey.

LA didnt even know they had a ****ing team for 40 years til this June.
I'm not implying a thing. I'm stating the patently obvious fact people who love outdoor sports year-round are FORCED to play indoors because the weather makes playing that outdoor sport impossible. Those people are choosing to play an outdoor sport INSIDE rather than pursuing a cold weather outdoor activity like the Brooklyn biathlon.

People play hockey here. (Indoors and out.) Often because they blow at other sports that are more easily accessible and don't require a bunch of equipment.

Northern cities do 75 and sunny better than LA does.

Maybe the vibe is just stagnant in LA cause its always that way. Id bet on it.

It's a lot different than that. Earthquakes occur only sporadically. The last one was 18 years ago. You have to deal with that crap weather every single year. You even had a "storm of the century" in 1993 that ended far more lives than the Northridge quake. But hey, you put up with it, so you're a manly person. Pfft.

Btw, complaining about smog, when you live in filthy city full of trash bags, sewer rats, bed bugs and subway cars that smell like fresh urine = priceless. No wonder you can't wait to get out. I don't blame you.
nope apparently l.a has more bed bugs then nyc

Report: Los Angeles Now Has More Bed Bugs Than New York - Los Angeles - News - The Informer

also l.a isnt to shy of rats neither

How big a problem are rats in LA really? - Straight Dope Message Board

as far as subways goes most of our train cars are new and improved, and all the subways are being updated. so yeaaaaa again?

People also use umbrellas to block out the sun. Whats your point?

Indoor venues can be used during heat waves as well.

I love outdoor sports myself. Pond hockey and snowboarding included. If I wanna play tennis or basketball, ill play inside. Whats the issue?

Man has always sought increased exposure to an air temperature more likely to hasten death. Its a widely recognized anthropological imperative.
