I'd have to nominate Boston. A city with a long tradition of progressive free thinkers ... and a tradition almost as long of intense fear of black people moving into their schools and neighborhoods
You don't get it, man. He and/or Ice Cream Man read plenty of internet stuff and have even left their home state on more than one occasion. The best we can do is throw our lots with one of them and hope he wins the epic battle for supremacy.

I was questioning whether either of them have actually set food in the city. If not then that's pathetic.

If you mean poverty-stricken by "tacky", then yes, we do have our run down areas. And yes, we have a good deal of blight- we were hit by a storm a few years ago.

Katrina in not an excuse for their hooliganism. New Orleans had a high crime rate, high poverty rate and a outrageous high murder rate BEFORE Katrina.

I actually think New Orleans is one of the most underrated cities in N.A. The culture is unique, the food is superb. And architecturally, one of the most beautiful imo. I love it.

You might notice that I haven't taken any shots at any other city on this thread. You find New Orleans to be overrated. That's fine. Why keep banging that drum, when nobody likes the song?
Its my hometime but no bias NYC is not overrated imo......I've been to Orlando its okay but not great has great attractions and the metro area is nice but the city is kinda of average.
