Southern New Mexico has palm trees but they just arnt native to the area thats all. Las Cruces has plenty of palms and in that whole area and up to Truth or Consequences, NM

What freaking palms are there in New England or NY pray tell? In the eastern seaboard, I've NEVER seen a palm tree farther north than Norfolk

I see palm trees quite frequently here in NW Washington and southern British Columbia. They're not native, but planted windmill palms seem to do quite well in this climate....

You can see non native palms in Ocean City, MD but where the hell are there palm trees in Southern Pennsylvania?
