Interesting. Why would you bring up the topic about the amount of international visitors Houston 'hypothetically' receives in a thread reguarding upscale shopping Dallas vs Houston?

Do either city actually have a legitimate city shopping area? Not to bring in other cities but is there like a nice district in either city like a Madison Avenue, Rodeo Drive, or Newbury Street? Or is it just a bunch of malls?

They are trying to develop it and was in the process on doing that. Than the economy happened. But yes. Right now it's a bunch of malls which sucks. When it comes to weather, Texans can become a bunch of wusses.
