Is that why more Californians move to Texas more than any other state? I think it's the other way around.

Please inform me AZLiam from Tucson.
Scottsdale already has and/or will be getting stores that Dallas has and some that Dallas doesn't have. Phoenix's metro almost has 1.5 million fewer people than Dallas. I don't consider Scottsdale a fashion center. Most major metro areas have upscale retail. Upscale retail does not make a place a fashion center.
Sorry.

As you can see from MY original post, I answered neither.

There is no need to explain, obviously your too lazy to look up the stuff for yourself and your just basically making statements without doing any type of research.

Please don't be apologetic. I am well aware of what Scottsdale has/does not have as I also live in AZ (and have for the past 16 years). Why don't you do a little research, or if that is too much for you, go back and RE-read the other posts from this thread. Yes, today, Scottsdale is a popular tourist and upscale shopping destination in the U.S. with great hotels, nightclubs and bars; however, Dallas was on the map as a fashion destination and wholesale merchandising center for buyers way back in the 80's (or earlier) when Scottsdale was still known for Taliesin West, tourism, and being known as "Snottsdale". Scottsdale and Dallas are not NY, L.A., Las Vegas, or Miami (high on the international level), but let's give credit where it is due.

Has it been noted yet that the Galleria in Dallas was actually copied after Houston's Galleria?

Because you didn't understand the question. It was between THESE two cities. Not between these two cities compared to the rest of the nation. You was confused, that's all.
