Oakland is the pioneers of cop hating music? I can hear the rumblings coming from Southern California. Point being that this is not the Bay Area's style and it never was. LA was the one that brought in the controversial type of hip hop from NWA to gangsta rap. The Bay was more laid back and influenced Houston big time.
The Bay has had some violent Hip-Hop since the late 80's, you might never heard of them but, Eleven Five, IMP, Seagram, Cellski, Totally Insane, The Click, Dre Dog, Mac Dre, RBL Posse, Spice 1, and many more were big back in the 90's and even to this day. They're style was hardcore rap, on the level of NWA.

I'd say I heard of most of the people you named. I do agree they all go hard even King Louie ( Some people say he's garbage but he has a unique flow and some witty lines)

I grew up listening to 90's Hip Hop/Gangsta Rap & have only heard of these two.
E-40 is supposed to be coming out with some new stuff soon.
ATL at #1? Detroit #3? Pittsburgh? (at all lol)
...
The only way your list is anywhere near accurate is if it's about mainstream rap presence in the last 5-10 years.

New York hasn't made anything worth listening to since Dipset. ATL isn't as strong as it was a few years ago but it's still on top. I don't care much for Pittsburgh's sounds but they are making a lot of noise nowadays
Again with ATL at #1? even funnier - Houston at #2 LOL
And why is there another mention of Pittsburgh, at all? There is/was only 1 mainstream rapper from Pittsburgh ever and that's Wiz Khalifa. I guess you could add Mac Miller, but he's barely on MTV videos and I've never heard him on the radio. BTW Sam Sneed had 1 minor hit, and most people still think he's from LA, arguable.
NY still has a lot of rappers that make good music to this day, Jay-Z and Nas still do. So does Mobb Deep and MOP, although they're not really mainstream. Fabolous, Joe Buddan, Joell Ortiz, Wu-Tang, Maino, DMX, LOX, Busta Rhymes, Immortal Technique, etc the list goes on.
NY being #10 on your list is hilarious.
