I though Santa Cruz was a cool town. Now Half Moon Bay, CA is a different story. The people seem like they're constantly high, everyone mopes around, erie fog all the time, farms on a CA coast, christmas tree farms. I stayed at a Ritz there. All the employees come down from SF and they all say the town if freaky.

Sedona, AZ is quite weird also. Lots of hippies/tree huggers/new agers/mystics/etc/etc. I couldnt walk 25 yards w/o seeing stores selling tye-die shirts, crystals, books on spirituality and vortices. It got old real fast. We even drove up the road to go to Slide Rock State Park and Ill be danged if those freaks werent all over the place there too. Ugh.

Default wierdos!

Seattle, WA
lots of single men with six figure salaries, no social skills, spent their entire lives working in a cube. They all live in what are called ikea pods, single room apartments that all look the same. Everyone in this town has the same personality and do the same things.

We have churches next to Church's chicken franchises here in Houston, and one of our most famous landmarks is a house with siding made of beer cans.

No not really. The Salt Lake Valley is apple pie and quite clean cut, the people are generally friendly and affable imHo. The city itself has a very pleasant downtown and interesting older neighborhoods.

Um, do you realize exactly where you where? Replace 'seem like they're' with the word 'are'. Now re-read it. Answer your question?

Seems there are a lot of places with the "weird" slogan...e.g. "Keep Asheville weird."
