NYC
Chicago (especially if it's taken from the Lake)
Miami (especially if it's taken from the Bay and includes the port)
San Francisco (especially if it includes the Golden Gate Bridge)
Seattle (If the space needle is as recognizable globally as it is in the US)
St. Louis (because of the arch)
DC (is that really considered a skyline?)
LA (only if it includes the Hollywood sign in the background)

Cities that I don't think would be recognizable to many foreigners:

Philly (I think people would think it was another view of NYC)
Dallas (I just don't think foreigners think of TX in that way)
Houston (ditto)
Detroit (heck...probably isn't recognizable to many Americans either)
Pittsburgh (though one of the prettiest skylines and settings, it's just too small potatoes outside of the US)
Atlanta (not sure that there's an identifying landmark or landscape to foreigners)
Boston (Boston images usually aren't of its skyline)
