Hey Guys Can Anyone Compare This Two Cities, Meaning Diversity, Cost Even Though I Already Know, Single Life(including Women Attitude), And Etc... What Their Pros And Cons And Which One Is Conclusively Better..... Thanx Guys...cowabunga
They are two very different cities and places. They don't need to be in competition either. Enjoy each one. Two good places. Also, seek past threads containing this info.
SF has hills. Chicago gets real hot in summer and is flat. San Francisco has Alcatraz and Chicago only has 26th and California. So its a roll of the dice.
I'm looking at moving to either SF or Chicago soon. I'm from Michigan and live in Iowa. Leaning towards SF but wonder if I should move to Chicago first, since it's close by
Diversity? Well they both have a lot of foreign born peoples, from many various countries, and diversity in ethnic groups. No majority 'race' in either city. Both have a lot of rich, lot of poor, and a lot of middle class. Both are fairly segregated.
milliano am in the same boat as you, i want to go far, but my friends and family would like if i stay close, a little dilemma, but am leaning on to san fran too, i can 't do anymore winters, and lake affect. lol
San Fran is much smaller than Chicago and it has a much larger asian population. I've met former San Fran natives who have moved to the Los Angeles area becuase San Fran was "too cold" and "not enough sun" -- so the weather is relative. If family is important that should definitely be taken into consideration. Chicago has more housing options meaning you can afford to but a condo, home over time. In San Fran, unless you are raking in six fugures the chance of owning anything is slim. Chicago has a friendlier vibe and is a little more real.
theres no comparison. SF may be pretty to look at on postcards, but hands down chicago kicks its butt for a city to choose to live in. why? its easier, cheaper, more fun, better nightlife, far friendlier people, better sports, etc etc etc
