What cities are going to have the most changed skylines from what they are now?By that I mean which ones are going to look completly different, more tall buildings and more dense?
For the time being, SFs skyline is supposed to look like this by 2012.
San Francisco seems like a city that mainly needs the really tall buildings now, because when I see pictures of it it always seems like it has a pretty dense skyline.
even though the one above won the design i wished SOM on the bottom won just because it has more design to it, dang san franciscans don't you know they have technology that makes the building almost impervious to earthquakes just look at Hong Knog
OMG IKR!!! SOMs design was SOOOO iconic and simply incredible, it would have been like SF's best achievement EVER. I was so dissapointed when Pelli's won because it looks like everything hes recently made (2 IFC, goldman sachs) oh well, its still a good design
