Atlanta on the other hand, has a southern vibe, the same vibe that you get from all the other southern cities, besides New Orleans, and Miami.

You're telling me you don't get a Southern vibe from New Orleans???
Atlanta is considered the south, Lake Charles and Shreveport is where the southwest begins. Houston, DallasFW, San Antonio, El Paso or Austin do not even think of Atlanta at all. Tampa and Miami probably feels the same
Shreveport is still very much apart of the South. The Southwest begins in San Antonio.

I do feel that I'm in the south, and I do get that vibe from the architecture of the city and the people around, but I get a very mixed feeling there as well, it has A LOT of Spanish and French influence. Way more than any other city I've been to in the South.
It's vibe is different than Dallas, or Atlanta, which feel southern.
New Orleans has a large mix of feelings that you can get there, it's very unique. And probably a city that can't ever be replicated.
To say that it's the capital of the south is too much, because other cities don't have the same characteristics and probably wouldn't ever have it either.
Atlanta has a lot of cultural similarities with Dallas and Houston, which is why I think Atlanta would be a better southern capital, because it has more in common with other cities than New Orleans ever can, IMO.

the funny thing is the "Creole influence (Mix of French and Spanish)." is New Orleans southern vibe, which is not like Atlanta southern vibe, trust me New Orleans is southern "the south isn't "monolithic" I going to be Repetitive the samething goes for Miami.
New York is the capital of the whole country culturally
