Which state do you think has the best and worst looking Capitol Building?

I think the Missouri State Capitol building looks the best. I will admit I am biased since I lived 30 minutes form it Here is picture of it ( you look at more it at wikipedia) :

As for the worst I would have to go with Alaska. There tons of simple office buildings, court houses and what not which looks better than Alaska's capitol. Here a link (I think is copyrighted): http://z.about.com/d/gonw/1/7/M/L/-/-/eP1010563.jpg

I think either Nebraska's or Louisiana's are the best because they are the most unique.

Nebraska

And Louisiana

And I think I agree with you about Alaska's

I have always liked Montpelier, Vermont and their Capitol Building. Love the gold dome.

Have to agree on Alaska and their capitol building. Looks like they bought a surplus Russian office building and shipped it over.

I second Oregon being on the worst list. Very blah looking.

New Mexico's has alot of history behind it and blends in with the old Spanish style buildings and is different than all other capitol buildings but it is not very attractive or spectacular at all.

That New York Capitol looks awesome and I kinda like Nebraskas and Louisianas, I also like Maine
