Oakland should be on that list. Its bigger than many of the ones listed. And its definitely NOT a suburb.

I wouldn't count airport layovers. If that's the case, I've been to tons on the list, lol. Those 12 I picked I actually slept there and spent a decent amount of time in.

All of them except these:
  1. Oklahoma city
  2. Kansas City
  3. Omaha
  4. Tulsa
  5. Honolulu
  6. Wichita
I've never been to that entire great plains stretch from North Dakota to Oklahoma. I used to want to go to all 50, just to say "hey I've been to all 50 states" but I don't really see any reason to go to those ones above outside of Honolulu...way too much to see. I stopped traveling the U.S. about 6 years ago and have been concentrating on out of the country destinations and exploring the bigger cities here. I.E. more interesting stuff just in nyc I'd want to see in my lifetime over all those places above. I am a travel junkie and spend pretty much all of my discretionary $ on traveling.

23, not counting driving throughs, one-nighters where I haven't had time to see much beyond the hotel, or airports.

Went to USAF Basic Training in San Antonio and was stationed in a suburb of Sacramento. Other than that, have visited, driven through, picked up and delivered in all 51 cities.
