28. Have lived in two (not suburbs), Pittsburgh and Denver. Well, I"ve lived in the burbs, too, but have lived in the cities proper of those two.

Minneapolis, Chicago, Omaha, St Louis, Kansas City, Portland...Denver airport. Only 5 not counting Denver.

I've been through lots of states but their major cities weren't on the list.

Twelve. More than I expected. Of the twelve, I lived in Raleigh and Tulsa, lived near Cleveland, Houston and Washington D.C.
