Stockholm was amazingly beautiful when I went there. Very very nice people as well.
I agree. It's a city of water, so beautiful from what I've seen in photos. Never been there but would love to go see it around Christmas. Northern Europe is pure beauty.
How can you compare a 800 year old city with Seattle? Stockholm is clearly more beautiful by . But I think that many Americans can't appreciate the kind of beauty old European city's have. It might not have cool sky scrapers or cool looking things like the space needle but Stockholm has so much more then that. You almost have to see it for yourself. Not even pictures can justify it.
September is one of the best months in Seattle with temperatures in the 70s and blue skies. Right now Seattle is getting temperatures 55-65. Stockholm is getting 45-54. How come Stockholm has better weather in fall or spring?
I have never heard Stockholm compared to Seattle, other than maybe because Seattle has a Scandinavian heritage, and both are very liberal cities. The two cities really look nothing alike. Besides that, weather is such a subjective thing, there is no right or wrong answer to the question.
