I suppose at least some of the Nashville mansions are owned by country music stars or people with connections to country music.
I know Donna Summer lives in Nashville. She's not a country music star, though.
Those country music folks may be rich, but I don't necessarily think they have good taste.
Kenny Rogers is based in Atlanta. He's owned quite a few homes here. He's somewhat like Cher in that he likes to fix homes up and then sell them once the project is completed. And then he moves on to the next project. And then the next project. And then the next project.
His homes on the outside are okay. But I find his interior decorating style gaudy. He loves bold colors and tacky assessories.
I've seen pictures of Rod Stewart's Beverly Hill's home. That home is stunning.
Actually, a few of the Country stars have pretty good taste. Not all of the mansions here are owned by country stars, though. Just like any other big city, we have our fair share of doctors, businessmen, and lawyers with big houses. I was mainly talking about the "newer" houses. There are still some very beautiful old southern homes in Belle Meade and Oak Hill. I'm just not a fan of the newer construction.

I suppose it's a misconception thinking a lot of the Nashville mansions are owned by country music starts.
Johnny Cash's house burned down. I think that was up in Hendersonville??? That house didn't appeal to me.
The Beverly Hills of the South would most generally have homes above at least $3 million. Maybe the recession has knocked that down a bit. A bit! Here in Atlanta a milion-dollar home is a nice home, but it's not in the Beverly Hills' league. That's the topic. Most of the mansions in Buckhead, 10,000-square-feet plus, are above $3 million.
I generally don't like older homes. I like contemporary-style homes.
The Beverly Hills of the South would probably be Palm Beach. The architectural styles are somewhat similar.
What about Naples, FL, Boca Raton, FL, or Key Biscayne, FL
Coral Gables seems for fitting than anything else. Just like BH, it's an independent city in the middle of the urban area(Miami-Dade County, not too far from DT Miami) and has an abundance of affluent apartments.
There is only one Beverly Hills, and Palm Beach is it's southern sister. Highland Park of Dallas, and River Oaks of Houston are it's stepsisters with Buckhead being it's stepbrother.
I would say Palm Beach because the money there seems more real. Lots of "Old Money" in Palm Beach. Buckhead seems more like fake money. Buckhead people seem more like the type who run up credit cards to keep up appearances and keep up with the joneses. Lots of people in this country try to look like they have money but they are really broke and in debt. That's why I voted for the old money Palm Beach people instead of the fake and phony "new money" Buckhead people. Palm Beach money is a lot of "New York City money" and "Wall Street money" which you can't beat.
The shopping in Palm Beach has a Beverly Hills feel to it. Walking and shopping down Worth Avenue in Palm Beach kind of feels like walking and shopping down Rodeo Drive in Beverly Hills. Plus, you also have the palm trees and year-round warm sunshine in Palm Beach like you do in Beverly Hills. The vibe and energy that you feel at "The Breakers Hotel" in Palm Beach definitely has a Beverly Hills feel to it. There used to be an old wealthy lady who lived at The Breakers Hotel. She payed the hotel one million dollars per year to live there. It's a pretty cool true story. Who needs a retirement center when you can live at a really nice hotel. Haha.
