San Jose has a good record of having low crime, especially for a city of its size.

maybe you were thinking Chicago.
Um, no. I think you're forgetting that Boston doesn't have 3.8 million people living in it so of course LA will have more.

The geography of the two cities make this incorrect.
L.A. is huge and it encompasses many wealthy and middle class neighborhoods. Boston is small and it does not.
The City of Boston, as defined by the actual limits of the incorporated city, is purely urban in character, where L.A is a huge urban/suburban sprawl.
If you incorporated the cities and towns surrounding Boston to make it similar to L.A. It would be one of the top 5 safest cities in country.

Big city? With a population of 4,902. I don't think that even comes close to a town never mind a city

So what do we call cities with 50,000 people? Really really big cities
How about cities with over 500,000? Ultra mega large big cities
Cities with over a million? Gigantic hugely enormous big cities

No I still think LA is the gang capital of America. Your forgettin MS-13, surenos, 18th street, nortenos. Those are still some of the most violent and infamous gangs in the nation. LA is still definatley gang capital of america. I would definately put chicago in second though.

You left out Orlando, Florida. The land of Disney is number 9 most dangerous city in America.

Yes quite a bit actually.

I lived in Denver for a week.

I went to Rapid City, SD once.

When I was a kid my family went to San Diego for vacation, we also went to Tijuana.

So yes I have traveled more then alot of people.
