Is this even a contest? MIAMI. If you are young and want any sort of party scene stay away from West Palm Beach. Delray Beach has more of a scene than WPB.

Why would I move to West Palm Beach? Miami has everything, I do not need to drive more than 5 minutes to do just about anything I would need to do. If I lived in South Beach or Downtown I would not even need to drive for most of my day. Miami has night life WPB does not. Miami has diversity WPB does not have a lot. Miami is a big international city, WPB is not. Miami has sports teams, WPB does not. What does WPB have that Miami does not? Besides for a lot of Hispanics.

The OP is 18. Whatever happened to going to college to get educated? I don't want this guy down here. Can't he party up in Chi-town?
Anyways, the great thing about SOFL is that the 3 main cities are different from each other. Nevertheless WPB is still SOFL and quite different from mainstream America - I think that's what a lot of people forget, cause they are comparing it to Miami. WPB is not mainstream Florida (or US), neither is Delray, Jupiter, Lake Worth, Wellington, etc.
I love PBC - and I could care less what the haters think. I love Miami-Dade too. I'm still trying to find the soul in Broward... I'm sure it's there somewhere. I hear the Brazilians and French Canadians have found some Broward soul.

I would rather LIVE in West Palm Beach. Its a nice little small city that's a suburb of Miami metro. I would rather visit Miami but not live there.
