Default Cincinnati, St Louis, Indianapolis, or Pittsburgh?

What are your likes and dislikes about each?

Pros:
Cincy, St. Louis, Pittsburgh: River cities with historic architecture
Cincy and Pittsburgh: Varied topography
Indy: Fastest growing of the four, best economy, best downtown

Cons:
Cincy, St. Louis, Indy, and Pittsburgh: Terrible winters. Indy and Pittsburgh get a bit more snow than the other two
Cincy and St. Louis: Crime, decay issues
Pittsburgh: Declining or stagnant population, decay issues
Indy: Decay issues, terrible public transportation

I love St. Louis. The architecture is beautiful. Winters can be harsh, not sure I'd call them terrible, though. The city does need to improve schools and decrease crime. But overall St. Louis is a historic city with some wonderful neighborhoods.

Yes, this is an old thread. But I am the king of thread resurrections on CD. So here we go!

CINCINNATI
: Likes: Beautiful skyline/architecture; the Riverfront, wonderful park system; Newport on the Levee; Skyline Chili
Dislikes: The rude and unfriendly locals; traffic; poor, inadequate public transportation

PITTSBURGH: Likes: WONDERFUL skyline, lots and lots and LOTS of beautiful, historic areas; beautiful parks; the inclines and the "T"
Dislikes: Steelers; traffic; poor economy (Pittsburgh is losing population hand-over-fist, really a shame for such a wonderful city)

I don't know a lot about Indianapolis or St. Louis, so I can't make fair judgments of those cities, but one thing I DEFINITELY like about St. Louis is the historical vibe I get by seeing pictures of the city. St. Louis and Pittsburgh draw a lot of comparison in my book, except STL appears to be less hilly.
