LA is not made up of all shallow people, and neither are the other cities you listed, and they DO have redeeming qualities. Please free-think on that.
Shallow people is not the only reason I dislike those cities

Right. That's why these are some of the fastest growing cities in the country.

Seeing that you're from Boston, I'm a little curious as to why you would greatly dislike Pittsburgh or Baltimore. Granted, Boston is significantly larger than both and is classier in areas. But, all three cities have excellent education (obviously no one really compares to Boston though), great structural density, and an Eastern flare.

Only Phoenix is stil growing relatively fast. Most Americans are fleeing cities like Miami and LA because of the housing crash, illegals etc.

Reread your opening post, the part where you say "don't be offended", take your own advise to heart

I'm pretty sure you mentioned Orlando and Las Vegas--these are growing massively. In addition, Miami and LA are still not losing population.

I don't really know. I just don't have a good picture of either of them in my mind, but I'm sure they have great things about them just like all cities. Neither of them are places I really aspire to go to, though.
