I also just saw images of Johnstown, PA for the first time when mams, another member, posted them about an hour ago. I love learning as much as I can about every city in this great country, big or small. I dream of Duluth and moan for Madison. I clamor for Charleston and envy Evanston. I adore Ann Arbor and gravitate towards Greenville. I lust for Little Rock and opine for Omaha. I've grown to love all of these cities through this forum and this forum alone; the Administrator has created an awesome message board! I can only hope I've made some people on this forum salivate for Scranton in similar fashion.
opine?

lol

also, I like Little Rock's skyline, the bright light names on the top floors add a much needed touch of urbanism in the night hours.

Default That is NOT Springfield, MO on pg. 6!!!

Look at page 6 - underneath the daytime shot of Springfield, MA is a nightime shot of Springfield, MO - that is NOT Springfield, MO!!! I lived there for 6 years and, unfortunately, Springfields' skyline is nowhere near the size of that nightime shot - maybe in a 100 years! Does anyone know what city that really is???

Default AFLAC building in Columbus

Does anybody know why AFLAC built their headquarters/building so far away from downtown Columbus? The building looks to be about 20 stories tall and really would have helped give a distinctive look to the skyline of Columbus. Currently, it looks as if the tallest building in downtown Columbus is the city administration building at about 13 stories. What a shame AFLAC didn't have more insight. Think of all the workers that would have been downtown and all of the revitilization that could have gone on - businesses, condos for many of those AFLAC workers, etc... It's not like they couldn't afford it! Columbus has an small, ugly skyline, especially for a metro area its size. There is great potential for this city though! Does anyone have a proper skyline shot of Columbus taken from Phenix City from across the Chatttahoochee River???
