El Rhino, those were beautiful pictures of Des Moines!  What is that building under construction in the second-last photo just to the right of the large skyscraper in the center? That is a crane, isn't it?

That's a communications tower. There's a phone company somewhere near by it that uses it, I think. On the left end there's a crane where they're building a big parking garage. I don't think any new skyscrapers are on the agenda right now, but on the west end of downtown (that view is from the east) there's a good sized office complex about to be built, but it won't be that tall.

why has Louisville been put down twice even though the population is 693,604 (in 2000) when the op stated cities under 200,000?
