Rochester probably has the best for it's size (Pop. 103,486)

I know it was mentioned before, but here is a better picture and updated population.

And if Tampa shouldn't be here, why are there postings of Orlando? Orlando met 2,300,000, Orlando city 235,000.

So, unless OKC annexed it's entire metro area, it's not the 1.2 million.

But, regardless of it's classification, OKC is very impressive!

* United States most populated cities
A city with over half a million people cannot be considered mid size in any way, shape, or form. OKC is not included on the mid size list. But anyway, here is my pick:

Fort Smith, Arkansas(pop 86,209)

Even though there is height restrictions, I have always liked Madison's skyline, most likely because of the way the capitol building's dome kind of sits over everything else, which I think is what the restriction says, but I'm not too sure, so correct me if I'm wrong. I do like Shreveport's skyline, especially the Regions Tower (the tallest one).
I don't think suburbs of major cities should really count, so I only rated the cities with separate metro areas.

I am from Peoria Illinois, and I have to say that this used to be a wonderful place to live, and still is if you live in the right parts of town. But with the growing population the bad areas are becoming worse and growing. An increase in the number of violent crimes including homicide, is on the rise. But on the other hand there are a lot of good schools here, and jobs to be had. Peoria, as long as you stay out of the south end, is a nice city. I cant say much for our politicians, but I can speak for the people of Peoria. We have one of the best fire works displays in the entire country, and for a small city, have a pretty impressive downtown area. You have got to admit it. And the census might be counting only 115,000 living residents but according to the employment office there is over 259,000 people employed and leaving another 40% unemployed, the city gets bigger in the day light. There are a lot of one way streets to maneauver. But you get it eventually, and the new interstate is a pain, im from here and I still get confused on it. One last reason why you should consider Peoria IL a home, it has the best medical care around with three hospitals in the city. OSF Saint Francis is the number one hospital in the united states, and Methodist has the best nursing staff in the country, Proctor has the best heart doctors in the country. and Pekin hospital across the river is one of the best places to have a baby. Health care is important and Peoria has it. The police actually do their job here, and for the most part are fair, I mean every one has a loos end somewhere but overall police is good. I cant say the same for Creve Coure if you ever pass through on you way to Pekin or something dont SPEED ever. Well and the last reason you should consider moving to Peoria, it is considered one of the nicest cities in the country. Come visit us, Come stay with us. in the littlest biggest city in the world Peoria Illinois
