I voted Dallas and I am proud to say so. Perception is reality here for most people on this thread, Dallas is made out to be a cow town by the media so that is what people think of it as. San Fran is made out to be this free and easy low crime progressive mecca so that is what people think of it as.
Bottom line, if you are A) a far left elitist B) an illegal alien C) a gangmember or other criminal or D) homeless, San Fran will be a great place for you and your quality of life. If you are anyone else other than that, Dallas will be better for you and your quality of life.
I know I will get some haters saying I am just jealous because i don't live there, however, I was offered a very lucrative job out there in my field after graduation and turned it down because I had spent alot of time visiting SF and knew I would like to be somewhere else. I took a job for less $ (but still great paying) here in Houston and do not regret it for one second. So go ahead and bash me for actually thinking for myself and not letting the media think for me.
way faster pace,more urban,more activities, better weather(microclimates),on an ocean, in California, more diversity(greater bay area),better schools,better shopping,better skyline,not hickish/country

lol illegal alien- sounds more like LA or San Diego or most of Texas
More things to do than say Indianapolis lol...Colts so far you seem to be that lonely one person that voted Dallas
What the hell does Indianapolis have to do with Dallas vs. San Francisco? That's right, I didn't think so either. And by the way, I'll take Dallas over Chicago, too.
I love how you guys jump on people who don't kiss certain cities' a**es at every opportunity.
I've never been to SF,but I honestly don't plan or want to visit it. I voted Dallas.
