Atlanta for me I prefer hills, trees and being close to the eastern seaboard and the gulf. Atlanta also has a more gritty core and has ok public transit in the core of the city. You can get to most of Atlanta's main attractions without a car and connect to your destination from the airport Marta station. One of the things I like about Atlanta is that you can jump off a plane and be in Midtown in about 25 minutes by Marta.

Both cities are congested with too many people and very crowded!! Both cities cannot drive when it rains or snows.
Well maybe I prefer to give the nod to ATL. Dallas / Texas in general has a major issue with sex trafficking even with minors. I would not want to raise kids there, so ATL for the win!
