Best:
New York-Tops at number 1. They aren't afraid of anything.... good or bad
Chicago- COME ON obviously
Philly- These people are diehard
Buffalo-Hocky/Footy a very cold weather fan crowd. Chillen (literally) @ a Bills game in february, THATS LOYALTY
I wanna say Dallas as an HM, but i cant say for sure.
WORST:
San Diego- for one they only have 2 sports teams and secondly every Padres games is 60% for the other team. Most likely due to all the non San Diego natives. Chargers are hardly ever good.
Seattle- Although it wasnt there fault, they lost the Sonics (terrible and sad)
D.C. - Again not a lot of people from here.

to MN55:
Williams Arena best college basketball? Carrier Dome in Syracuse, NY has the record for most fans in attendance in a College ball arena.

And nowhere else in the country can you fill up an 18,000 seat hockey arena for a high school game:

And every Gophers hockey and basketball game is packed. Williams Arena is probably the best college basketball arena in the country and Mariucci is one of the top college hockey arenas in the country.

Gophers football has had sucky attendence as of lately but the team has always been horrible. But the new on campus TCF Bank Stadium opening this fall should change that:

It opens this fall.

The Twins have had decent attendance at the Metrodome, but becasue it sucks to sit indoors and watch a baseball game on a beautiful Minnesota summer day, the attendence doesn't match the ammount of support the teams as. Target Field opening next spring will probably sell out the entire season:

The Vikings sell out everytime. Yesterday 2000 fans stormed Brett Farve's car as he was driving from the Airport to the Vikings practice facility.

Needless to say, despite the Dome, the Vikings are pretty crazy here.

...
Then there's the Timberwolves, but no one in Minnesota cares about basketball so they don't count. They're pathetic.
What professional hockey team is in Minnesota? Just curious.

That's about as funny as Detroit claiming to be Hockeytown U.S.A. or people in MI thinking their state produces more hockey players than MN. If you're serious though, there's a site called Google.

No, Minnesota does not have the best sports fans in the country, but they are hardly fair weather fans. The Wild who have been mediocre at best, has sold out every game (18,500+), including preseason since they came into the league in 2000. As a matter of fact the team currently has the longest sellout streak in the NHL; hardly fair weather. The Vikings have sold out every home game since 1997; hardly fair weather. The Twins are usually in middle when it comes to attendance; not great, but not fair weather. Lately the Wolves haven't been drawing well, but the team is beyond awful so I can understand. Then again, Minnesota isn't exactly a basketball mecca.

In regards to stadiums, the Xcel Energy Center is one of best arenas in the NHL; the Twins will have one of the best ballparks (Target Field) in MLB; the Target Center (Timberwolves) isn't the best, but it's not the worst, and I'm sure the Vikings will end up with one of the nicest stadiums in the NFL.

BTW, the Metrodome is more than adequate for people from Iowa. I recall some white trash from Iowa being caught having 'sexual relations' in one of the bathroom stalls.

I just asked a question. I really dont know who produces more hockey players, but we do have many here as in any Northern city.

Hockeytown? We have won some Stanley Cups in the past. Google it.

I admire all hockey teams we have in this country and others, no matter where they are from.

Congrats Pittsburgh. Good series.
