I would say the South Side of Chicago is the worst neighborhood in the United States.
Chicago is the murder capital of the U.S., and the South Side is the murder capital of Chicago, so it stands to reason that it should be the worst neighborhood.
No neighborhood in the U.S. is more dangerous than the South Side of Chicago.
I hate to admit it but I have to agree with you. I think thats the first time we've ever agreed.
I have to clarify that its not the entire South Side though. Moresoe its specific neighborhoods on the South and West Sides of the city.

Chicago is not the murder capital of the USA. That would be either Baltimore or Detriot. I am not saying Chi-town isn't dangerous, but Baltimore's population is only 630,000, and there are around 225-275 murders per year. In '93, when i moved to missouri, there were 393 murders that year. I now live in maryland, but far away from b-more, and let me tell you that place is like new jack city. lol
These stats are from '06, little dated, and i know things in chi-town have gotten worse since then.
BTW, doesn't have the most reliable stats last time I checked a few cities.. they were off. Cleveland's homicides are about half of what they actually are.
Comparing crime to another city doesn't make it any better, it really only makes one look a bit mean by making another city look bad especially when it was unprovoked and random to bring up that city
