OMG--Lindsey you must be my long lost twin!!! This is me to a t!!! At times I'm starting to think I have to try the Virgin Islands or Puerto Rico...I was cold in Miami last week--and the day I went to the Keys wasn't warm enough for me either....

This was a really hard choice for me because I love hills and mountains. Up until recently I would have said NC. However, I have spent the past few months traveling the southeast--mostly GA, NC, VA--and though I love all of them and find them beautiful, I found that in December, when I crossed that Florida border heading south on 2 occassions, Florida looked absolutely wonderful!! And I am a person who used to say Florida was nothing but flat, ugly scrubland. I like seeing the sunshine and green all year. Also the flowers and flowering bushes and trees. Everything looks so "alive" here in the winter when most of the rest of the country is "sleeping". I lived in Raleigh for 6 mos back in 2004--and I really loved it, but I made the decision to come back to Florida--and I suppose I am glad that I did. I am just searching mhy my perfect town now. I know it's here and I will find it.

North Carolina. Mostly because it borders on Virginia. And everyone knows Virginia is the most beautiful of the 50 states.

You owe it to yourself to check out DeLand and New Smyrna Beach.

You can thank me later.

I always think the same thing when I go back to FLA for christmas each year. The plants are all alive. Everywhere else is dead and gloomy.

lol he lived in Florida for a while and just moved back north. Why don't you get your facts about people before judging their lives?

As far as landscapes, I would say NC. At least it has mountains and snow.

LOL have you ever seen the beach on Key West? It's small and man made. There are no natural beaches on Key West.
