shopping: (not ranked)
Northpark center(DFW Metro)
Galleria Houston(Greater Houston)
Galleria Dallas(DFW Metro)
Town East Mall(DFW Metro)
Memorial City Mall(Greater Houston)

city skylines:
1)Houston
2)Dallas
3)San Antonio

I can't say for California.

California . . . because the posters from there have enough self confidence to not feel the need to start stupid polls comparing themselves to superior states. There are some major inferiority complexes alive and well in Texas.

Yeah, California is so superior that they are bankrupt, the housing market is in shambles and illegals practically run their state!

oh my god, anyone who uses this word should be banned from city-data. This word has offically been butchered and turned into an annoying slang word on city-data that people throw out because they can't come up with a good enough argument or actually put some type of though into a post.

TX and CA are probably the only two states than can become their own Independent Country.I Really wanted to vote for both.TX having the best economy right now and low cost of living and CA having better Scenery and weather.Music scene Don't know about TX but CA has some cool Rock Bands.RHCP,Incubas,Fort Minor,Linkin Park,Hollywood Undead and much more I Can't List.I'm Sure TX has Music as well.
