I love Helena, Montana. Albany, unfortunately, is a hole.

Of the capital cities I've been to (Boston, Concord, Hartford, Albany, Trenton, Harrisburg, Dover, Richmond, Atlanta, Columbus) I have to say Boston is my favorite. It's a great city! Although I'd be interested in seeing Austin, Providence, and Madison.

Madison is about as liberal as it gets on the planet. I have a friend that gets nervous , whenever he has to drive thru Madison . he won't even stop for fuel, snacks , or anything !.....................Madison suits me just fine , but then , I AM a Progressive............

Georgia wins this one no contest. No capital city in the United States compares even remotely to Atlanta. Indianapolis. Boston, and Columbus are just no match for it. Atlanta is a beautiful world-class, 4-million people city with a huge downtown and business facility with the busiest airport in the world and the first time I visited Atlanta I fell in love with the city. Atlanta rocks!!! And Atlanta is not only the capital of Georgia these days, it's also considered the capital of the new South, and rightfully so because I hear people talking about Atlanta as far west as Louisiana. People just seem to gravitate toward it.

Thats the OLD Atlanta. It used to be called " The Chicago of the South", so many northers moved there. Now , its just another crime ridden overgrown place, thats outgrown its highway system. Very hot and humid summers , great food, great air access ( if you can stand the traffic getting to, and waiting at the airport),high real estate prices,.......the old Atlanta charm is gone.....

It was a joke. I already posted that I think Colorado has the best capitl city, Denver. The gold dome is really cool. Cheyenne is the capitall of Wyoming, however. Some people like it.

Just outside Denver there is a place called Colorado. Nice state. Who in their right mind would WANT to live IN Denver ? The smog , the traffic , the crime,no jobs , very little industry. Des Moines also has a gold dome, would that make me want to live there.............I Don't Think So !
