The suburbs of Atlanta are VERY southern. I lived there several years and did not run into many northerners (myself being one).

Its Ironic that Atlanta is one of the most Northernmost Major Cities of the south and it doesnt have a Northern influence. While on the other hand New Orleans is the Souternmost Major City of the South and it has more of Northern Influence

So you think only the North can have nice cities?

Actually, Nashville is heavily influenced by the North. For one thing, the last two mayors of Nashville were both from up North, and one is now the governor of Tennessee.

Miami would be the southernmost major city of the South, and I think it has more Northern influence than all of 'em. And Atlanta is not one of the most northernmost major cities of the South. Georgia is a Deep South state.

What a minute? Atlanta is in the Deep South. Very well into the South.
If anything, Richmond is the Northernmost city of the South , and it is more Southern than Atlanta.

How does the North influence New Orleans? I really don't get it, you really have to explain that to me.

Well, actually, Charlotte is supposedly the Southern city most filled with Northerners. Charlotte is now over 2/3 transplants, w/ the outmigration being mostly from NY and NJ.
You hardly run into a native here these days.
New Orleans has the same vibe it had 30 years ago and it sure as heck is not "Northern," ROFL!!
